Please excuse my bloggy absence for the next little while. I am in the middle of a crazy month. I will tell you all about it when I get back. It includes visits to NYC, Vegas, & St. George. Also, I have some crazy thoughts running around in my head. I am trying to decide if I have enough courage to do what I think needs to be done. Nothing too big a deal. Just me still trying to decide who I am and what I want to be. Should I already know this at my age? I turn 37 in a few weeks…
I love this song by Mindy Gledhill. It reminds me of my cute husband whose birthday is today! Happy Birthday Len! He really is the one that holds the string to my crazy red balloon. Without him, it’d definitely float away.
I love this idea! You all know about Spoonflower, right? It’s a company that allows you to upload files which they then print on fabric. I’ve had a few designs printed onto fabric from Spoonflower. It’s so fun! The wedding invitations pictured above include a map of the locale printed via Spoonflower then sewn into hankies. Cool! I like the idea of such a tactile invitation. How fun would that be to receive?

Remember my print for the Blogher Gulf Auction? It’s up for bid now on ebay. I thought I’d sweeten the deal a little. There are four days left to bid. If the winning bid comes from one of my readers, come back here and let me know. I’ll put a little something extra in the mail as a thank you.
The print is 18” x 24” and framed.

Wow! #Essentialoils are amazing! I’m at a #doterra conference learning how to use them for natural health and wellness. Cool stuff-
Vanderbilt Hospital ER uses #doTerra #essentialoils to decrease stress and improve energy levels in their dept. w/ great results.
These are gorgeous pillows! I love the huge flower and the combination of linen and wool felt. Made by RubyEllen of Cakies for a friends wedding, one is a ring pillow and the other a coin pillow. So Pretty. I love that they can use them after in their home for decor. Wouldn’t something like this also make a darling pillow for a little girls room? The pocket on the leaf could hide secret notes, journals, tooth fairy earnings… Love it!
Summer is drawing to a close. We had a great one! Our [summer calendar] is all filled up & crossed off. It’s about time to take it down. Sniff. I grew attached to our little seasonal calendar so I made a new one for fall. Lots of fun fall activities to mark down, too. Canning, pumpkin patches, back to school activities, and lots of birthday parties around our house.

I’m taking a bit of a blog break to soak in as much summer as possible. Our summer calendar in July is completely full. Vacations, camps, day trips, and a bit of laziness by the pool are filling our days. I’m looking forward to some more unplugged time this month. Blogging will be hit and miss through the end of July. I’ll be back to more regular posts in August. I hope you have a great July!
